With the theme "Innovation Generates, Health Shares," ASUS Group made a grand appearance at the "2024 Taiwan Healthcare Expo," showcasing five major solutions: smart platforms, smart care, medical data, digital healthcare, and telemedicine. These solutions comprehensively address challenges such as a super-aged population, declining birth rates, and shortages of medical resources. As a pioneer in the technology and health fields, ASUS integrates innovative AI technology into healthcare and incorporates generative AI technology to help achieve the "Healthy Taiwan" policy goals, while also injecting new momentum into global healthcare development.
Next-Generation Smart Hospitals: Leading the Future of Healthcare
ASUS xHIS® is a digital platform designed for next-generation smart healthcare, encompassing outpatient, emergency, and inpatient medical order systems. It incorporates multiple AI functions, such as smart order search, disease coding, medical record writing, and medication safety services. The platform emphasizes cross-departmental data sharing, assisting healthcare teams in collaborative diagnosis and providing personalized care, significantly improving diagnostic efficiency and quality of care.
In addition, ASUS has launched a generative AI-driven Clinical AI Assistant that can guide patients to complete pre-diagnosis questions, automatically generate medical record summaries and progress reports, help doctors quickly grasp the condition, and recommend diagnostic codes and treatment suggestions, thus comprehensively enhancing the accuracy of medical care.
Smart care: Enhancing the quality of comprehensive health management
ASUS's "Health Management Platform" enables intelligent remote healthcare, allowing medical staff to communicate with patients in real-time when abnormal alerts occur, and providing health education information through the AI chatbot Sage. When necessary, patients can also conduct video consultations with hospitals via a mobile service app. ASUS's "Medical Voice" function can transcribe conversations into medical records and improve voice recognition accuracy with "self-learning technology." For patients requiring more in-depth evaluation, ASUS's "Digital Questionnaire" leverages the immediacy, convenience, and ease of use of digital devices to allow medical staff to efficiently complete the evaluation process, reducing their workload.
Addressing home healthcare needs, the ASUS HealthHub platform provides a one-stop solution for community care facilities, pharmacies, and government healthcare units. This year's newly launched HaH (Home Emergency Care) version enhances the efficiency of home healthcare services, allowing patients to receive high-quality care in familiar environments.
Healthcare Data Enables Accelerated Precision Health and Cloud Transformation
ASUS and its subsidiary, Taisun Technology, showcased their AFS POD AI computing power outsourcing service, featuring an AI server ESC N8-E11 equipped with eight NVIDIA HGX™ H100 processors. This one-stop ground-based service creates customized databases for hospitals, driving innovation in biomedical technology. Furthermore, Taisun Technology and Show Chwan Memorial Hospital in Tainan jointly developed the "Clinical LLM AI Agent Medical Interactive Decision Support System," which shortens medical decision-making time through multi-Agent collaboration. In the field of medical imaging, ASUS's EndoAim endoscopic AI has been deployed in nearly 30 hospitals across Taiwan, providing customized implementation and marketing support solutions, becoming a reliable partner for the smart transformation of medical institutions.
Other exhibits included the ASUS IoT MDS-M700 medical computer, the MH series clinical monitors, the ASUS LU800 handheld ultrasound machine, the ASUS VivoWatch 6 smart health watch, and various smart healthcare software applications. ASUS hopes to integrate more AI technologies to address the shortage of healthcare personnel in Taiwan and optimize and upgrade healthcare services.
