Smart water management is getting a major upgrade! Taishin Cloud, in collaboration with partners from industry, government, academia, and research institutions, has partnered with the Tainan City Government, ASUS, National Cheng Kung University, the Institute for Information Industry (III), and Shuangjian Smart Technology to create the "5G Smart Water Information Cloud Platform," providing a smart upgrade for the Yongkang Water Resource Recycling Center in Tainan City. This collaboration utilizes four technological innovations—AIoT, 5G, blockchain, and generative AI—to enhance the hydrological intelligence and system resilience of domestic wastewater treatment plants, ensuring a stable supply of high-quality water to high-tech industries and creating a new paradigm for sustainable water resource recycling.
By integrating Taizhiyun's AFS (AI Foundry Service) one-stop AI computing power deployment, model services, 5G private network, and blockchain technology, the platform drives more energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and resilient water resource recycling governance through data. The "5G Smart Water Information Cloud Platform" incorporates AIoT sensing networks and 5G private frequency network transmission to monitor the external environment and collect water quality and quantity data in real time. It includes innovative equipment such as a large-scale waste identification system, grease detectors, and smart water level gauges, which can predict water quality changes 30 minutes in advance, effectively preventing abnormal situations. All monitoring data is stored on the blockchain to ensure data integrity and enhance the overall system's credibility. Furthermore, the platform combines Taizhiyun's AI Foundry Service (AFS) generative AI outsourcing service, deploying an AI-powered hydrological system in the cloud. This system learns from experts' past experience and knowledge, quickly providing handling suggestions when encountering abnormal situations, improving the center's response efficiency.
Taisun Technology has upgraded its municipal wastewater treatment plant with 5G smart solutions, injecting new vitality into local water resource management and becoming a solid support for Tainan City's move towards sustainable industrial development. It looks forward to serving more water recycling centers across Taiwan in the future and creating a better water ecological environment through innovative technology.
