Taiwan AI Cloud (previously TWSC) is an affiliate of ASUS Group and a public-private partnership (PPP) with the Taiwan government. With over seven years of expertise in AI infrastructure and AI Foundry Service (AFS), we empower governments, enterprises, and startups to build secure, scalable, and autonomous AI systems. Through our AI Supercomputing Accelerator Program, we unite global partners to drive innovation, accelerate AI transformation, and advance digital sovereignty worldwide.
Our History
Delivered 9 PFLOPs of computing power, ranked #20 in the TOP500 and #10 in the Green500, marking a milestone in Taiwan’s AI infrastructure development.
Taizhiyun was officially established to create a PPP partnership between ASUS Group and the government.
Supporting AI startups with proof-of-concept (POC) validation and business acceleration.

Taiwan AI Cloud has changed its English name from "Taiwan Web Service" to "Taiwan AI Cloud". The new brand identity uses "TWAI" as the core word and combines it with cloud-related graphic symbols to convey the brand's spirit of "connecting intelligence to the cloud" and symbolize its continuous growth and momentum in AIHPC and cloud technology innovation.
The Nano4 supercomputer, which assisted in the construction of the National Center for Computing Technology, achieved a performance of 81.55 PFLOPs, ranking 29th on the TOP500 list of the world's top 500 supercomputers and is also Taiwan's largest AI supercomputer.

Taiwan AI Cloud Corporation, established in 2021 under the ASUS Group, is dedicated to fostering public-private partnerships with the Taiwanese government. Achievements and Milestones
Taiwan AI Cloud core team brings over 7 years of experience in AI infrastructure deployment and technical R&D. Leveraging ASUS Group’s resources, we contributed to the development of Taiwan’s national supercomputer, Taiwania 2, in 2018—ranked #20 in the global TOP500 and #10 in Green500. This achievement set a record for Taiwan’s supercomputing capabilities, showcasing world-class technical expertise and energy efficiency. To this day, we continue to participate in major projects across the region.
Comprehensive AI Foundry Services
Leveraging its years of experience in AI infrastructure development, Taizhi Cloud has launched its enterprise-grade generative AI solution (AI Foundry Service, AFS) in response to the generative AI wave. This solution provides a complete one-stop solution from design and deployment assistance to operation, encompassing three core businesses: AI infrastructure deployment, AI transformation consulting, and AI cloud services. Combined with the enterprise-grade Formosa Foundation Model (FM), it helps clients create customized AI models and applications tailored to local language, culture, and industry needs, achieving full autonomy and control over data, models, and computation.
Accelerating the AI Ecosystem
Taiwan AI Cloud actively supports government initiatives and established Taiwan’s first AI Supercomputing Accelerator in 2023. Selected for the 2023–2024 SME Accelerator Program, it provides startups with resources to optimize technology and expand markets. Through ASUS Group and partner networks, we facilitate investments that advance Taiwan’s AI industry. In under two years, we have supported over 60 AI startups and established the AIGC Supercomputing Accelerator in Startup Terrace Kaohsiung to help Taiwan’s content industry embrace AI transformation. In 2024, we launched the AI Supercomputing Innovation Consortium, bringing together industry leaders, AI startups, venture capital, and AI accelerators. Through a “Industry AI + AI Industry” co-creation model, we are committed to building a thriving AI ecosystem and positioning Taiwan as a key driver of AI development in Asia.
