Taiwan possesses a comprehensive national health insurance database and world-class medical and technological capabilities, laying a solid foundation for the "Healthy Taiwan" policy. ASUS, along with its subsidiaries Taiwan AI Cloud and Taiwan Biosciences, participated in the "2025 Healthy Taiwan: International Symposium on Smart, Regenerative and Precision Medicine" held by Chang Gung Memorial Hospital on September 6th. Peter Wu, General Manager of ASUS Cloud and Taiwan AI Cloud, presented on the topic of "Healthcare 4.0: Building the Digital Foundation for Future Healthcare Services," sharing ASUS's three-tier architecture focusing on next-generation smart healthcare digital infrastructure, platforms, and applications, leveraging its hardware and software integration capabilities to drive the digital transformation of healthcare institutions.

▲Peter Wu, General Manager of ASUS Cloud and Taiwan AI Cloud, shared ASUS's three-layer architecture focusing on next-generation smart healthcare digital infrastructure, platform, and applications, under the theme of "Healthcare 4.0: Building the Digital Foundation for Future Medical Care Services", and promoted healthcare through hardware and software integration capabilities.

ASUS Group and Chang Gung Memorial Hospital have achieved fruitful results in various fields, including AI-assisted diagnosis, voice applications, and smart care, through long-term cooperation. In the area of medical voice applications, the two parties have actively verified and promoted the "pharmacist consultation" process. Through the automated connection of "voice recognition," "text transcription," and "summary generation," and with the ability to connect to the HIS medical information system, the communication efficiency between pharmacists and patients is improved, medication safety is enhanced, the management of complete medication records is strengthened, and medical team collaboration and follow-up are promoted.

Furthermore, Taiwan AI Cloud and ASUS Cloud Architecture Software Center jointly assisted Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in building a one-stop AI inference cloud platform. This platform integrates a large language model-based generative AI assistant to promote AI-assisted diagnosis, which is applied to osteoporosis risk screening, ventricular function prediction, and rapid interpretation of pneumoperitoneum in emergency care, significantly improving diagnostic speed and accuracy. Simultaneously, through an AI medical record writing assistant and voice system, document processing is simplified, enabling zero-touch recording, and IoT data is integrated into home care to provide real-time and accurate care recommendations.

During the seminar, ASUS also showcased a range of smart healthcare products, including the VivoWatch smart health watch, handheld wireless ultrasound, EndoAim endoscope AI solution, health station remote solution, and medical voice solution. Taiwan Biotech focuses on promoting the application of real-world data and AI in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, empowering hospitals with medical information, strengthening data governance and clinical decision-making capabilities, building a smart healthcare ecosystem, and promoting personalized health management. Taiwan AI Cloud's three core services—ground-based AI infrastructure solutions, model optimization and inference services, and the AIHPC cloud platform—can all be used in collaboration with hospitals to promote smart healthcare applications.

The collaboration between ASUS and Chang Gung Memorial Hospital not only demonstrates Taiwan's strong capabilities in medical AI innovation but also marks the practical implementation of a new paradigm for AI-driven smart healthcare. Looking ahead, ASUS will continue to work with medical institutions to upgrade healthcare services through AI technology and digital transformation, helping Taiwan become a key hub for smart healthcare and AI applications in the Asia-Pacific region.
