Taiwan Smart Cloud Services Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Taiwan Smart Cloud) has taken over the operation of the "Asia Open Data Website (dataportal.asia)" cloud platform system from the Taipei Computer Association (TCA). The website contains domestic and international open data sources. Based on native data and domain knowledge, it has added a "Taiwan Academic and Research Open Data Storage Zone" to the website, which has academic and industrial value. This allows academic and research teachers who own the data to upload their research results and domain data to the "Academic and Research Storage Zone" for subsequent data access, cleaning and classification to ensure the continued storage and use of data in the future.
Through the "Academic Research and Development Storage Zone," the archived data is authorized to be "publicly accessible," allowing it to be referenced again. The original data within the archive can undergo data cleaning, correction, reorganization, cross-referencing, and value-added applications through a team of professional data scientists. Finally, the data can be incorporated into artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms and modeling to extract new value.
