Taiwan Smart Cloud Services (Taiwan Smart Cloud) announced a collaboration with Pegatron to implement an O-RAN open architecture base station solution and complete the integration of Taiwan Smart Cloud's 5G AI Ready Platform mobile edge cloud platform and AIHPC public cloud. In the future, it will target vertical application fields such as global smart manufacturing, smart cities, smart healthcare, smart transportation, cultural innovation, and education and entertainment, and enter the global 5G cloud service market.
Pegatron's O-RAN open architecture base station solution supports O-RAN O1, E2, and 3GPP interfaces, and is deployed on the Taizhiyun 5G AI Ready Platform mobile edge cloud platform, conforming to O-RAN standards for cloud deployment. It provides high availability, high scalability, and high performance 5G access network coverage, bringing customers a complete new experience of 5G private network cloud services.
