Taiwan Smart Cloud Services (Taiwan Smart Cloud) announced a partnership with Pegatron Corporation to integrate Pegatron's O-RAN open architecture base station solution into its 5G AI Ready Platform mobile edge cloud platform and AIHPC public cloud. The first phase will launch a one-stop 5G private network cloud service in Taiwan, integrating 5G ORAN private network, hybrid cloud, high-speed edge computing cloud, and AIHPC supercomputer. Furthermore, Taiwan Smart Cloud will sign a global strategic partnership MOU with Pegatron to target vertical application areas such as smart manufacturing, smart cities, smart healthcare, smart transportation, cultural innovation, and education and entertainment, thus entering the global 5G cloud service market.
Pegatron's O-RAN open architecture base station solution supports O-RAN O1, E2 open interfaces and 3GPP standard interfaces. It integrates with the Taisun 5G AI Ready Platform mobile edge cloud platform, which complies with the O-RAN standard, providing high availability, high scalability and high performance 5G access network coverage. Combined with Taisun AIHPC and various vertical application cloud services of the 5G AI Ready Platform, it provides customers with a complete new experience of 5G private network cloud services.
